Khao Sok National Park
Khao Sok National Park, often called the “Heart of the Rainforest Mountains,” covers over 738 square kilometers, including the Ratchaprapha Dam (Cheow Lan Lake).
The park is home to incredible biodiversity such as hornbills, gibbons, elephants, deer, reptiles, and the rare Rafflesia, the world’s largest flower, blooming for just 5–7 days once a year.
Visitors can enjoy a wide range of activities, from full-day or half-day treks and night safaris to river tubing, canoeing, and even overnight stays on floating houses at Cheow Lan Lake, each offering unforgettable experiences.
Beyond its natural wonders, Khao Sok also connects travelers with local culture through bamboo rafting, traditional cooking, and the simple lifestyle of local communities.
Eco-Tourism
Khao Sok is one of Thailand’s premier ecotourism destinations. Every activity, from bamboo rafting and elephant bathing to Thai cooking classes and local food tasting, promotes sustainable living in harmony with nature while supporting local communities.
